Over the past decade, we’ve grown from a small family-run operation into one of the UK’s leading producers of kiln-dried logs – supplying trade customers and retailers across the country. While our scale has grown, our approach remains the same: do things properly, invest for the long term, and build lasting relationships with the people we work with.
Today, we employ over 30 people locally and operate year-round production facilities designed to deliver consistent quality, reliable supply and the flexibility our customers need.
Our Journey
Eco Dry Energy was founded over 10 years ago, originally specialising in drying woodchip. As demand for high-quality firewood increased, we shifted our focus to cutting and drying hardwood logs at scale.
In 2021, we acquired Nene Valley Firewood, expanding into both B2B and B2C markets. Supplying thousands of homes across the Midlands gave us first-hand insight into what customers expect from their firewood – consistency, dryness, choice and reliability.
That experience continues to shape how we support our trade customers today.
From modest beginnings, we have grown into one of the largest producers of kiln-dried firewood in the UK, with continually expanding drying capacity and infrastructure to support long-term growth.

As a UK-based producer, we source wood where possible from local, sustainably managed woodlands and offer trade an alternative to imported firewood – reducing supply chain risk, avoiding port delays, and providing faster, more flexible delivery.
